Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Jenn has been writing songs and performing on stages big, small and smoky for years. Jenn began exploring different types of musical performance in high school, taking over local clubs with her psychedelic rock band Eclectic Buddha, and studying classical voice with Laurie Nelson. Studying music and philosophy in college, Jenn has since been writing songs, singing and playing guitar all over Washington, DC and in New Orleans, New York, Nashville, Memphis and Austin.  Special past projects include the Washington, DC area acoustic blues/rock/alt-country trio Circle of Thirds and the dynamic Chicago-style Black Cat Blues Band.  Jenn sang regularly with the fabulous New Orleans vocal jazz trio the Pfister Sisters and joined other local acts all over the Crescent City at clubs like the world-famous Spotted Cat, the Maple Leaf, and uptown’s Tipitina’s.  Check out Jenn’s current DC-based band project, Jenn and the Tonics.

When not rocking out on stage, Jenn works for an environmental organization and lives with her beloved and mischievous pet rabbits LaFeet and Athena.
